SAE Institute Announces Industry Legends to Attend

2011 NAMM Conference


New York, New York (January X, 2011)SAE Institute - the leading international school for creative media education today announced the three participants who they will be sending to the prestigious NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Conference this year held in Carlsbad, California on January 13th. All three individuals, impressive in their own right through varied experience, together will establish SAE as the leading authority in audio, video, film, games, and animation engineering.


Included in the list of presenters is world-famous, award-winning producer and Campus Director of SAE Institute Atlanta, Scott Kieklak who has worked with artists including Beyonce, Busta Rhymes, Wyclef Jean, Usher, Missy Elliot, Ludacris, Ginuwine, Ghost Face, Monica and Lil' Kim.


Keiklak will be joined by SAE Institute New York Professor Michael White whose resume boasts collaborations with Electric Lady Studios, Right Track Recording and Sirius Satellite Radio as well as some of the biggest names from both jazz to rock in his credentials.


Third on the roster is industry legend and Professor at SAE Institute Nashville, Alan Shacklock, who has been working as producer, engineer and musician in the industry since the 1960s with impressive names including Meat Loaf, Roger Daltrey, Chesney Hawkes, and Sir Andrew Lloyd-Webber on his production credit list.


During the three day conference, SAE Institute will take part in the conference’s “Boot Camp Day” – which offers an array of basic courses designed to provide foundation-level instruction in music technology and business. In this section of the program, SAE will be leading the two core sessions in “Hardware Recording Basics” and “Software Recording Basics” – both of which are geared towards industry professionals and provide expertise and insight into the cutting edge of hardware and software advancements available today. Within this program seminar, SAE professors will be walking attendees through the best of the best resources available giving anyone the opportunity to take the lead in their field.
